Overview

Share buybacks have been grabbing a share of the spotlight in the investing world lately, as companies executing share buybacks tend to outperform the broad market. But not all share buybacks are created equal—some can be financed with debt or leverage. More worryingly, corporate earnings reports are notoriously subject to financial tinkering, so how can investors reliably assess companies’ financial health? Ted Theodore, Chief Investment Officer of TrimTabs Asset Management, will dive into these and other important issues as they relate to share buybacks in TrimTabs’ upcoming webinar.
