Natasha Martsekis is an experienced NED with deep knowledge of shareholder engagement, institutional ownership and equity markets combined with investor related issues and new rules of corporate governance.

 

She is a Board Member for NED Club of Greece promoting corporate governance practices in BODs in Greece and the role of Non Executive Directors. Currently, she also serves on the BOD of Cepal Hellas Financial as an Non Executive Board Member. 

 

She had managed the Institutional Equity Sales at Alpha Finance for 19 years and has worked closely with the largest European and US clients in fund management. She has also worked for Lehman Brothers, Shell Oil and Citibank Switzerland in various senior roles in finance.

 

She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (Fulbright Scholar) and a bachelor degree from Athens University for Economics and Business.

 

In 2104, she also founded Bright Blue, a company specializing in highly vetted hospitality services in Greece. 

 

Natasha is a frequent speaker on corporate governance, female empowerment, and diversity. She is a member of the Scientific Team of Womentors, member of Women on Boards UK and Columbia Business School Women's Circle Club and and active fundraising volunteer for Safe Water Sports

Dr. Vassiliki Lazarakou is Chair of the Hellenic Capital Markets Commission (HCMC) and member of the Board of Supervisors of the European Securities and Markets Authority – ESMA. She is also Chair of the ESAs (ESMA, EBA & EIOPA) Joint Committee on Securitisation.

 

Dr. Lazarakou has a Doctorate in Law (JSD) from New York University School of Law, New York, U.S.A. She also has an LLM in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law and Bachelor in Law from the Athens University, School of Law. She is a lawyer admitted at both the Athens Bar and the New York Bar Association with expertise on capital markets, M&As, privatizations, corporate and commercial law and other similar issues. She has worked for more than 20 years as a Partner at several law firms and for more than 10 years she was heading the relevant Banking, Capital Markets and Finance Department of such Firms.  From 2012 -2015 she was also a First Vice-Chair of the HCMC and an alternate member of BoS.

 

During her term, she achieved the political agreement for the adoption of the Regulation and Directive on “Markets in Financial Instruments” (MiFID II/ MIFIR) as Chair of the relevant Working Group of the Council in 2014.

He routinely advises public and private clients (including financial institutions) on a wide range of transactional, regulatory, contentious and procedural matters in the realm of financial and business law.

Alexandros has had a key role in mandates recently completed by the firm, including advising the HRADF in the Port of Piraeus S.A. privatization, acting for NBG in the Astir Palace Vouliagmenis divestiture and assisting the four Greek systemically important banks in a large number of prominent LBOs and secured lending transactions to corporates, with a focus on the industrial and hospitality sectors.


Cristina Ungureanu

Cristina Ungureanu is Head of Corporate Governance at Eurizon Capital SGR, the asset management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Bank Group.

 

Cristina is responsible for Eurizon’s Corporate Governance and Stewardship activity, developing and applying Eurizon’s corporate governance policies through active ownership, coordinating the company engagement and voting activities globally. She also contributes to the implementation of Responsible Investment principles within the investment strategy, being member of Eurizon’s SRI Committee.

 

Before her role in Eurizon, Cristina worked in international corporate and academic environments in South Africa, United Kingdom and Italy, providing high-level corporate governance consulting and research to a diverse range of institutions.

 

Cristina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business Administration, a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and a PhD in Finance and Banking.


Alexandros Maglaras

Alexandros, 46, has been working as General Manager  and Chief Investments Officer of Triton Asset Management AEDAK,( www.triton-am.com ) since 2013.

 

His expertise lies in equities, bonds and derivatives as he has worked for the last 20 years in the stock market with main work experience in the Securities Companies P&K SA (1999-2006) and NBG Securities (2009-2013) while he also worked at Piraeus Bank (1998-1999) and Proton Bank (2006-2009).

 

Alexandros is a graduate of Athens College (92), the Piraeus University of Economics (97) and ALBA (PMBA). He is married and has two children.
