Overview:

The Case for Global Fixed Income Investing:
Potentially Higher Yields, Greater Total Return, and an Expanded Universe of Global Opportunities

In today’s low growth, low interest rate environment investors are searching for the solutions they need for income and bond exposure.

Aberdeen believes there is only one potential answer: to seek income on a global scale. This presentation will demonstrate:
  • How fixed income returns around the world have differed greatly. In fact, U.S. fixed income returns has rarely been the top performer on a global basis.
  • Diversifying globally may potentially offer investors better risk-adjusted returns than U.S. government or corporate bonds alone.
  • Aberdeen believes global credit markets are currently undervalued —making this an opportune time to diversify globally.
  • The global credit universe is expanding, global yields are attractive and default rates are low but credit quality analysis and security selection are key.
